Network infrastructure maintenance and administration

The situation in the 11th building of Tbilisi State University is presented in this following master’s thesis. The models of other universities are discussed, the problem is solved, and the appropriate configuration and method of administration is given. By analyzing the system model of Stanford and Fullerton universities, as well as taking into account the Cisco’s recommendations, a structural model and configurations are developed. The paper discusses several important facts that will help the network to become more secure, the control panel centralized, and will therefore simplify the learning process. Cisco’s leading technologies ensure the effectiveness of network sharing, data-management and statistical analysis.
