In-Memory database creation

Annotation:

In modern conditions, modern systems require very fast response (eg less than 1 second). Disk-based standard data systems cannot provide such fast response due to limited access time. If the full database can be stored in main memory, access time will be greatly reduced. In-memory databases are stored in server RAM. This provides a huge advantage in speed, as data operations in memory are accomplished with fewer processor instructions, and access to data-type operations cannot be compared at all - working memory globally is a hard drive. This paper describes some of the existing In Memory databases, their advantages and disadvantages. Creating such a database using the C programming language is also discussed.
