Annotation:

The change of the natural environment is constantly under the anthropogenic impact, a clear example of which is the formation of agro-landscapes. From time immemorial, humans have influenced natural landscapes and brought in a variety of crops. One of the most relevant agricultural activities in Georgia is viticulture, the center of which is Kakheti region. There are different micro-zones in Kakheti, which are distinguished by high-quality and different flavors of grapes. My goal is to study the Mukuzani micro-zone, which includes villages such as Mukuzani, Zegaani, Chumlaki, Akhasheni, Velistsikhe, Vazisubani, Shashiani, Kalauri, Shroma, and Kakhifari areas; I will pay special attention to Kalauri-Mukuzani sub-region, as my native roots are connected with these places. Recently, the Kakhetian peasant has become more interested in the cultivation and care of the vineyard, and it is gratifying that the younger generation has become more actively involved in the cultivation of the vine culture and the propagation of local selective varieties. The wine of the appellation of origin is very popular: "Mukuzani" and "Vazisubani", the newly established "Kalauri" and "Kvirike", which were bottled last year in the village of Kalauri, and the representatives of the small cellar are no equal. The tourism potential of these villages is growing and developing every year.
