Generation of vortices and magnetic field by the non-stationary pondermotive force

Effects of nonpotential pondermotive force on kinetic phenomena in a degenerate plasma are presented. The particle distribution function is derived, which allows one to calculate the particle and heat fluxes. A novel relativistic hydrodynamic equation of motion, incorporating self-generated magnetic fields, is obtained, which admits no frozen-in condition. Initially, the generation of electron fluid vorticies in degenerate fermi gases by a laser pulse is demonstrated; the effects, are pronounced by degeneracy pressure. In our formulation of kinetic, as well as hydrodinamic equations, a newly disclosed nonpotential pondermotive force is incorporated, which is the source of generatio of quasistatic magnetic fields and relativistic vortex rings. This vortex rings are potential candidates for ultrahigh gradient electron acceleration. More precisely, the electrons that are in the equilibrium are accelerated to relativistuc velocities by nonpotential pondermotive force via generated vortex ring. The merging, decay, and annihilation of vortices are discussed. The launching of plasma jets by the vortex structures is also considered.
