Environmental pollution is one of the problems that has the greatest impact on human health. Pollution of natural objects (water, soil) poses a great threat to biodiversity and the integrity of the ecosystem, which ultimately has a negative impact on human health. Among the numerous hazardous wastes in the environment, arsenic is noteworthy, even small concentrations of which can cause toxic effects. Arsenic production wastes are mainly found in soils and waters. The result of the accumulation of Arsenic like a toxic substances in the soil, the chemical composition of the soil gradually changes, the geochemical balance and the unity of living organisms are disturbed. Contamination of natural objects with arsenic poses a significant ecological threat and requires appropriate measures. The aim of our work was to study the adsorption of arsenic (III) ions (As + 3 , AsO 3 -3 ) on the initial, decationed and cation-modified forms of clinoptilolite. The study found that modified clinoptilolite is an effective, inexpensive and affordable adsorbent against the cationic and anionic (As + 3 , AsO 3 -3 ) forms of Arsenic (III). Using the Zeolites it is possible to reduce the concentration of Arsenic and consequently its negative effects on the environment.
