This paper discusses alpha-beta gamma radiation and their interaction with atoms in the medium. In this work, the law of radioactive decay is considered, the mechanism of alpha radiation (Gamow's model) is discussed in detail, and modern experimental and theoretical results are presented. In particular the (_88^226)Ra radium decay reaction is discused . The paper also lists the decay schemes of radioactive (_90^232)Th, (_93^237)Np , (_92^238)U,(_92^235)U nuclears ( nuclears chain).
