1-acetyl-1H,9H-2,3-dihydropyrrolo[3’,2’:5,6]indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline, the second representative of the new isomeric, heterocyclic, five ring containing pyrro¬loin¬do¬lo¬quinoxalines system has been synthesized . The key compound - 1H,7H-7acetyl-5,6-di¬hydropyrrolo[3,2-f]indole-2,3-dione has been obtained under the calsical condition of the Sandmeyer’s reaction. A target heterocyclic product 1-acetyl-1H,5H-2,3-di¬hy¬dropyrrolo[2’3’:5,6indolo[2,3-b]quinoxaline is synthesized by the condensation of 1H,7H-7acetyl-5,6-di¬hydropyrrolo[3,2-f]indole-2,3-dione and o-phenylendiamine in acetic acid.
